OPEN DOORS
OPEN ARMS
At the JCCSF, every door we open and every program we share is an invitation to belong. Here, Jewish values inspire joyful celebration, children discover confidence and curiosity, older adults find connection and support, and people of all backgrounds come together to learn, grow, and thrive.
Your support sustains a community that not only uplifts those who walk through our doors but also strengthens the fabric of the entire city through partnerships with Jewish and non-Jewish organizations alike. Together, we open doors to connection, meaning, and hope.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and continue building programs that enrich lives across San Francisco. And we are proud to serve as a bright Jewish light in San Francisco, standing for inclusivity, resilience, and joy.
Thank you for joining us in this valuable mission. Lift up a community that uplifts others by donating to JCCSF’s Open Doors, Open Arms Campaign.
OUR STRATEGIC PLAN
In March 2023, our Board of Directors completed a strategic visioning and planning process that will guide the JCCSF through its next years of innovative programming, thoughtful community building and successful, sustainable growth. We’re excited to share the details with you.

Areas of Impact
How We’re Making a Difference
The Department of Children, Youth and Their Families renewed a $1.5M grant over 5 years to sustain JCCSF Citywide, a program that last year provided instruction in art, dance and sports to 800 young students attending historically underserved public schools in San Francisco. JCCSF Citywide partners with the YMCA and Mission Graduates.
We are all about connection to Jewish values, Jewish life, and each other. From spirited preschoolers to lifelong learners and fitness enthusiasts, 4,000 people of all ages and life stages walk through the doors of the JCCSF every day. We doubled down as a central hub for San Francisco's Jewish Community.
Over 300 little ones at the JCCSF's three preschools explored new interests, found best buddies and discovered the magic of play! 60 students received financial assistance, totaling over $650,000.
Donor spotlight

The JCCSF has been part of Alex Austin’s life since age 29, when Alex worked at the Front Desk while attending law school. Alex remarks that the JCCSF has benefitted their entire family, from teen programs for son, Amir, to holiday celebrations such as Tashlich on the Beach. 'Our family has made a lifetime of friends at the JCCSF!'

We love our donors & volunteers
“We are very committed to fostering community and have found Helen Diller Family Preschool (and the larger JCCSF) to be a true center of our community and sense of belonging. Participating in Parent Council has allowed us to be active in our children’s daily lives at school, connect with families across the classrooms and help shape the community and relationships that make this place special.” – Jen Peck and Debbie Tuttle, 2020-21 Parent Council Co-Presidents
