A GIFT FROM YOUR IRA

Support the JCCSF today
If you are 70 1/2, you may make a Qualified Charitable Distribution to the JCCSF directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA).  If you are 72, you can use all or part of your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) up to $100,000, to make a charitable gift to the JCCSF. The entire amount of your gift passes to the JCCSF.  You pay no income tax on your donation.

Support the JCCSF in the future
You can also create a legacy at the JCCSF by allocating your retirement assets (IRA, 401(k), 403(b), pension or other tax deferred plan. Retirement assets are typically taxed heavily upon your passing.  Most people do not use all their retirement assets during their lifetime and most retirement plans allow you to easily designate or change a beneficiary with a simple form.

Your gift – today and in the future – will enable the JCCSF to support and strengthen our vital programs for children and their families, youth and older adults based on Jewish values of inclusion, social justice and  tikkun-ha-olam.

Your gift of appreciated stock that has been held for more than one year will benefit the JCCSF and may save you capital gains taxes and provide a variety of other tax benefits. Please consult your tax advisor to find out how a charitable donation of stock can help you reach your personal financial goals.
