The holiday of Shavuot marks the moment the Torah, a sacred scroll of divine teachings, was received by the Jewish people on Mount Sinai. Today we honor the Shavuot traditions of gathering in community to celebrate learning and discussion as a way to discover and seek new truths together.

For more than 35 years, the JCC East Bay has hosted the Tikkun: A Day of Learning. Join us this year to experience a diverse variety of classes taught by Bay Area Jewish educators, including the JCCSF’s own, Maggid Jhos Singer.
