Recovery
Recovery is how you come back stronger. Your muscles rebuild and your energy returns in the hours after you train, and the JCCSF Fitness Center has a range of equipment and amenities to give that process a head start.
Recovery is the part most people skip. It’s also the part that makes everything else work better. Basically, less soreness, better sleep, more in the tank tomorrow.
Exciting News!
New recovery equipment is landing on the fitness floor this month to join the classics you already know.
Book Your Recovery Time
Each session is 20 minutes and you’ll need to check in at the Fitness Floor Desk when you arrive. You can also make your reservation in the JCCSF Fitness mobile app. Bookings will start in a few days. Stay tuned for details.
Your Recovery Toolkit
D.Core: Ultra Premium Massage Chair
Your body just put in the work. Now let this one return the favor. Ten hands move independently down your back, airbags knead instead of squeezing, and rollers hit the arms and calves you forgot to stretch. Recline into zero gravity and feel it all let go.

HydroMassage Chair
Dry Water-Massage Bed. Lie down fully clothed while warm, pressurized water jets move head-to-toe underneath a waterproof layer. No oils, no lotions, no undressing, just a quiet reset between sessions.
Therabody Lounger
A zero-gravity recliner that turns sound into something you can feel. TheraSound Technology and SoundHeart hardware translate audio into full-body vibration, so a soundscape moves through you instead of just playing near you. It’s built to help you unwind and decompress between workouts.

Therabody RecoveryAir JetBoots
These wireless compression boots have the pumps built right in, so there’s nothing to untangle. FastFlush Technology cycles pressure through your legs faster than standard systems, boosting circulation and easing muscle fatigue so they feel ready again sooner.
HyperIce Recovery Station
Grab a massage gun and go to work on whatever’s tight. Six speeds of percussion reach deep into sore muscle, with a pressure sensor that helps you find the right intensity and a heated attachment for extra relief.

Sauna & Shvitz (Steam Room)
Heat opens things up, whether it’s the dry heat of the sauna or the steam room’s warm, moist air. Tight muscles loosen, your mind slows down, and the stress of the day starts to fade before you even leave the room.
Hot Tub
Warm water and steady pressure make it easy to unwind. Soak your legs after a run, ease into it after a heavy lift, or just relax before you head out for the day.
