Welcome to Summer Camp

We’re so excited that your camper is joining us this summer! Below you’ll find all the camp-specific details to make sure you’re prepared for a fun-filled camp session! PLEASE READ the Summer Camp Parent Guide – it’s filled with all our details and policies for your camper.

Drop-off & pick-up

All campers should check in on the first Monday of each of their camp sessions in the atrium at 3200 California Street. Camps beginning on 6/20 and 7/5 will check in on the first Tuesday and Wednesday respectively. Drop-off and pick-up time and location for the balance of that camp session depends upon which camp your child is in so please make sure that you take note of what we listed below. 

Extended Care

Extended Care is a registration only program, to register for AM/PM care, please contact camp@jccsf.org.

AM Care is located in the Teen Center on the 1st floor of the JCCSF and opens promptly at 8am. The entrance is approximately 50 feet west of the main entrance, Families must walk their child in and check in with a staff member. Curbside drop off is not available for AM Care.

PM Care is located on the 3rd floor of the JCCSF. PM Care drive thru is at Walnut St. from 5:45pm-6pm. To pick up between 4pm and 5:30pm, please go to the Camp Office on the 3rd floor.

Drive-thru Directions

The drive-thru for 3200 California Street is located on Walnut Street between Sacramento and California. You must make a right hand turn onto Walnut Street from California Street, with your camp placard on your dashboard. There may be a line, we appreciate your patience.

Times are staggered to ensure the safety of each group, please make sure to arrive during your designated time. Please have your photo ID ready at pick-up. Parking Garage Changes Effective July 3

We’re thrilled to announce we’re upgrading the parking system at the JCCSF. Starting Monday, July 3, all parkers will self-pay prior to returning to their vehicle, like at many parking garages, and then insert the ticket as they drive out. No more waiting in a line of cars to process credit cards at the gate.

As a reminder, summer camp families can park in the garage for free for up to 30 minutes when dropping off or picking up campers while camp is in session. If you parked for 30 minutes or less, you can skip our new pay stations, drive directly to the exit gate and scan the bar code printed on the dashboard placard you received at check-in on the first day. Any parking exceeding 30 minutes will be charged at the exit station. You will have the option of paying at the exit station before leaving the garage. What to bring each day

• Lunch and snack (no peanuts, nuts, pork or shellfish)
• Full water bottle (labeled with your camper’s name)
• Appropriate attire for your camp’s activities (see below)

Spirit themes

Every Wednesday is spirit day! Campers are encouraged to dress up each week according to the themes listed below. (Please no weapon-inspired toys like swords and guns or anything that will distract them from participating). Scroll down to your camp start date to see your spirit themes.

Swim Day

All campers will have swim time in our indoor renovated Gallanter Family Aquatics Center and that day is noted below.  Just pack a swim suit (and goggles if they want) in their backpack and we’ve got the towels covered.
