Healthy Aging Month

SPONSORED BY SUTTER HEALTH

Each May the JCCSF is honored to present Healthy Aging Month which coincides with Older Americans Month. It’s our opportunity to celebrate and shine the light on the accomplishments and contributions of Lifelong Learners while delivering information and knowledge to you.

STAY ACTIVE, INFORMED & INDEPENDENT

Each May the JCCSF is honored to present Healthy Aging Month which coincides with Older Americans Month and this year’s theme is “Champion Your Health.” This year we’re offering you new ways to explore self-care, expert advice on vision enhancement, as well as the chance to experience a trending acupuncture practice. We’ll celebrate solo agers, allow you to let your imagination go wild while coloring, give you an opening into the world of exciting books and authors, and encourage you to learn about and participate in the upcoming California primary.

Widespread agreement holds that essential ingredients to successful aging are diet, sleep, exercise, connection with others, and staying mentally agile. Equally important is the enjoyment of works of art; our lecture on Medicine and Art will demonstrate the linkage between the two.

We’d love to see you. Attend one session or come to all.  Advance registration is highly recommended.
