Torah Meet & Greet

In celebration of Simchat Torah, join us in the JCCSF atrium to open up the ancient scroll and explore the wisdom, stories, symbolism and Hebrew letters of this sacred book.

Take some time to discover and celebrate the Torah, a divine text holding the first five books of the Hebrew Bible. Every year we unwind the scroll and cycle back to the first chapter. Then we begin again, retelling stories year after year. From Genesis to Deuteronomy, this a chance to see these stories in written form on a sacred scroll. Join us to get up close and personal with the original source of Jewish wisdom, hear a reading, uncover mysteries in the text, ask questions and level up your Torah knowledge.
