9th Annual Sukkot & Fall Harvest Festival Pop-Up

Join us and our friends at Foodwise in the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market’s back plaza to celebrate Sukkot, the fall harvest festival. Together we’ll experience the beauty of a community sukkah by connecting, creating and eating together in this special space. You’re also invited to learn about and perform the rituals of Sukkot by shaking the lulav & etrog, tasting local honey and more.

New this year: Astrology readings with local expert, Heather Cohen! As part of our “Nighttime Sukkah” installation, Heather will be on hand to help you discover your Hebrew zodiac, learn about your associated tribal energies, and receive a personalized star reading. This activity is inspired by the sukkah itself, whose roof is intentionally left open so that we can gaze at the stars and feel our connection to creation. Heather brings over a decade of experience in archetypal personality systems and socio-emotional learning, weaving together insight, ritual, and renewal in her practice.

Plus, stop by the Foodwise Classroom near the Ferry Building for a free cooking demo hosted by Chef Adam Rosenblum (of Super Mensch & Causwells), where he’ll showcase how to use seasonal market produce in simple, delicious ways.
