Join us and our friends at Foodwise in the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market’s back plaza to celebrate Sukkot, the fall harvest festival. Step into a beautiful community sukkah, design harvest crafts and create alongside local Leslie Jonath of Foraged Art. Bring the market bounty to life with a giant harvest mandala. You’re also invited to learn about and perform the rituals of Sukkot by shaking the lulav & etrog, tasting a local honey flight from Marshall’s Farm and more!
9:00 am – Noon: Make a hygiene kit for our unhoused neighbors with community partner Repair the World.
10:30 – 11:15 am: Stop by the Foodwise Classroom to discover a new apples & honey recipe with Ukranian chef and cookbook author Anna Voloshnya of BUDMO!
