Healthy Aging Month

May is Older American’s Month and we’re bringing you new ways to explore diet, exercise, connection and more. This year’s rallying cry is – Flip the script on aging!

STAY ACTIVE, INFORMED & INDEPENDENT

Widespread agreement holds that essential ingredients to successful aging for older adults are diet, sleep, exercise, connection with others, and staying mentally agile. Equally important but not often stressed are the magical effects of humor. This year our Jewish Mothers program will be thought provoking and induce laughter.

Key to both healthy aging and economic security are our federal aging programs. Did you know that they are celebrating significant anniversaries in 2025? Social Security turns 90, Medicare and Medicaid reach the 60-year mark along with the Older Americans Act while the Elder Justice Act achieves 15 years.

We’d love to see you. Attend one session or come to all. Advance registration is highly recommended.
