The Jewish holiday of Passover explores themes of freedom and oppression through storytelling and the ritual meal of a seder. This year, the seder is held on Wednesday, April 5 with a weeklong holiday to follow. Whether you are celebrating this holiday or it’s just a regular week, we encourage you to take inspiration from this exhibition to examine what it takes to have freedom in your own life and in our society.
For those hosting or attending a seder meal, this exhibition can be the foundation for your own reflections as you step into the holiday season. We’ll have a gallery-inspired Haggadah insert that you can take home to enhance conversations around the table.
