Join this movement-based class for adults of all ages which focuses on improving core strength, posture and balance. Did you know that better posture helps to reduce low back pain, increase stability and mobility, and boost confidence? Research has also proven that core strength works to increase circulation, improve the ability to perform daily activities and prevent falls. Who can’t benefit from these kinds of everyday superpowers?

Virginia Chatham enthusiastically leads the class with a goal to provide the benefits of core strength, alignment, and mindful centering in every session while working with people of all ages and backgrounds. Illness and recovery gave her empathy and positivity and in 2016, she became a Certified Pilates Instructor after completing Balanced Body University. She has comprehensive training in a wide variety of Pilates modalities.

Please note the next term begins on Monday, August 24.

Registration opens on Tuesday, August 4 at 9:00 AM.

Please note session 1 is SOLD OUT.

LOCATION

• Classes are held in Room 206 outside of the JCCSF Fitness Center.
