Shabbat Around the Table: Dinner & Delights

Pull up a chair, savor the warmth of freshly baked challah, and feel the glow of Shabbat. This evening is all about bringing community together with beautiful traditions, live music and a tasty buffet from Wise Sons Deli. Whether you’re catching up with old friends or making new ones, it’s an opportunity to enjoy a warm and meaningful evening.

This Shabbat will be filled with delightful moments – embrace the end of the week with your friends and family around the table. 

EVENT SCHEDULE & TICKETS

5:00 – 6:00 PM: TOT SHABBAT PIZZA PARTY

Enjoy Shabbat crafts, free play and plenty of fun with your little ones 0 – 5 years old, hosted by Jewish Baby Network and PJ Library. Older siblings welcome. Ticket includes pizza, veggies, fruit, cookies, challah and grape juice (ticket does not include Wise Sons Shabbat dinner).

5:00 – 6:00 PM: L’CHAIM LOUNGE 

Raise a glass and delight in the joys of Shabbat with wine, tasty bites and creative twists on tradition. Try unexpected challah flavors, write Shabbat cards to loved ones or create your own Havdalah kit featuring local dried herbs and spices from around the world. Cheers! To life! To community!

6:00 – 6:30 PM: SHABBAT RITUALS FOR ALL

Everyone joins the JCCSF’s Rabbi Batshir Torchio for vibrant Shabbat rituals, followed by tunes for all ages from musician Jonathan Bayer. 

6:30 – 8:30 PM: SHABBAT DINNER BY WISE SONS SOLD OUT

Gather with friends, family and community for a hearty buffet dinner. The menu includes challah, salad, meat and vegetarian entrees, sides and dessert. Wine is included with each adult ticket. Kids may enjoy the buffet or pizza, then hang out in our Shabbat Lounge hosted by JCCSF Camp staff with books, crafts and games.
