Laugh Through The Heartbreak Presents: Zach Margs

Get ready for a night of big laughs and unforgettable energy at Laugh Through The Heartbreak, the hit comedy showcase that has sold out audiences across the country. Now it’s coming to the newly renovated Kanbar Hall at the JCCSF for one of the first comedy events in our refreshed, state-of-the-art performance space.

Past lineups of the Heartbreak tour have featured some of the biggest names in comedy including  Jo Koy, Mark Normand, T.J. Miller, Ronny Chieng, Adam Ray, Elon Gold, Jeremy Piven, and Tiffany Haddish. This special evening continues the tradition with a lineup of top-tier comedians and rising stars ready to bring the house down.

Created by acclaimed producer Erez Safar and co-produced by the always hilarious Menachem Silverstein, Laugh Through The Heartbreak blends sharp, contemporary stand-up with an atmosphere that’s playful, irreverent, and deeply relatable. The traveling show blends nationally recognized talent with standout local comedians, making every performance a unique experience.

ZACH MARGS

Zach Margs is a British Jewish comedian celebrated for his sharp humor and relatable takes on Jewish and Israeli culture. With a knack for turning everyday moments into laugh-out-loud sketches, Zach has built a worldwide following captivated by his iconic characters and clever storytelling.

MENACHEM SILVERSTEIN

Menachem Silverstein is an Orthodox Jewish writer, actor, comedian, and ordained rabbi, because apparently, he likes to keep busy. Born in Brooklyn (where Jews are made) into a family of seven, he quickly realized that the best way to stand out was to be funny. And it worked, until his parents realized he wasn’t going to be a lawyer. Menachem has since made a name for himself in comedy, working on Jimmy Kimmel Live, starring alongside Steve Carell in The Patient on FX, and performing weekly at the Hollywood Laugh Factory, where, ironically, his parents are still waiting for him to “get serious.”

EREZ SAFAR

Erez Safar is a Los Angeles–based comedy producer and host, known for creating and selling out the live series Laugh Through The Heartbreak, with shows in top comedy clubs including the Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store, Rodney’s Comedy Club, and Stand Up Factory. He curates and hosts premium comedy lineups featuring major talent such as Tiffany Haddish, Jo Koy, Ronny Chieng, and more, consistently drawing packed houses and high-energy crowds. Outside of comedy, Erez is an award-winning producer and best-selling author whose work has been featured in Billboard, NPR, The New York Times, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal.
