Peter Chien is a mechanical engineer with a degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He previously worked on neurosurgical robots and built satellites. He has done hundreds of hours of volunteering at senior communities in San Francisco and is passionate about helping older adults. He is currently developing a startup to build better technologies to keep independent older adults safe at home.
