Come join a new gathering of parents for meaningful conversation as we explore the parenting insights of Dr. Becky Kennedy, author of Good Inside. The JCCSF’s Rabbi Batshir Torchio leads discussions from Dr. Becky’s grounded work in clinical psychology and weaves together the rich wisdom found in Jewish teachings.
Dr. Becky’s approach to understanding the complexities of parenting – encouraging us to hold two realities at once – mirrors timeless Jewish wisdom, elu v’elu – “these and also those.” We’ll consider how these teachings guide us in creating stronger, more resilient relationships with our children, especially during challenging times. Everyone is welcome – whether you’ve read Good Inside or are just discovering it for the first time!
Join us for one session or as many as you’d like. Below are the chapters being discussed for each session. Not a reader? Listen to the podcast.
