Tech Tutoring: Get Valuable Support

Do you have a problem or question about a device or a tech-related undertaking? Take advantage of this opportunity to get hands-on help and guidance.

Having trouble with your laptop, smartphone, tablet, watch or any other device?  Do you have general questions about technology? Join this recurring volunteer tech support session for one-on-one assistance. Bring your device and any necessary accessories, and Peter will help you get it going. Whether you’re looking to understand a concept, learn how to use a device or app, or figure out the right tech for your home or health tracking, we’ll dig into it with you.   

Peter Chien is a mechanical engineer with a degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. He previously worked on neurosurgical robots and built satellites. He has done hundreds of hours of volunteering at senior communities in San Francisco and is passionate about helping older adults. He is currently developing a startup to build better technologies to keep independent older adults safe at home.  

Coming up in July: Peter will be doing a presentation on Wearable Technology, More information to follow.
