Jocelyn Begonia
Aleph Lead Teacher – Rosenberg Early Childhood Center
Youth & Family
Jocelyn Begonia is an Aleph Lead Teacher who brings warmth, creativity, and a deep love for the toddler years to JCCSF Preschool. With a B.A. in Early Childhood Studies and a Child Development Site Supervisor Permit, Jocelyn grounds her teaching in the belief that the first five years are powerful, foundational, and worthy of great care and joy.
Jocelyn has spent most of her seven years in early childhood education working with children ages 2–3, and she is excited to be back in the Aleph classroom at Rosenberg. She finds this age full of wonder and growth, and she values supporting children as they build independence, confidence, and connection. A central part of her work is building trusting relationships with families, especially new parents, so that home and school feel like true partners in each child’s journey.
Originally from Oahu, Hawaiʻi and now rooted in the Bay Area, Jocelyn brings a grounded and reflective presence to her classroom. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, painting, spending time in local parks, and exploring new places to eat around the Bay with friends, family, and her cat, Pants.
