Juliet Phillips
Administrative Lead Teacher – Helen Diller Family Preschool
Youth & Family
Juliet Phillips is a Lead Teacher in the JCCSF Family Life department, bringing nearly 15 years of early childhood experience to Helen Diller Family Preschool. Rooted in the Reggio Emilia philosophy and Jewish values, she creates meaningful, play-based learning for children ages 2–5 and partners closely with families as a guide and collaborator.
Juliet’s love for early childhood education began at the JCCSF, where a freshman-year summer job quickly became her calling. She went on to support ECE at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo while earning a degree in English with a minor in Theatre Arts, then returned to Diller to teach full-time and continue her Child Development studies.
A sixth-generation San Franciscan, Juliet is proud to have grown from a one-week summer volunteer into a Lead Teacher and is currently pursuing her site supervisor permit. Outside the classroom, she enjoys discovering new restaurants with her husband, singing at any opportunity, and exploring San Francisco’s hidden stairway hikes.
