JCCSF coaches and assistants have experience with young children, as well as playing and coaching sports. We create a positive environment where children learn respect for one another, so that they may learn, play sports and have fun!
We are a proud member of the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) Local Partners Program. The PCA is a nonprofit organization based at Stanford University whose mission is “Better athletes. Better people.” For more information, please visit www.positivecoach.org.
There are many opportunities to get out there and play at the JCCSF! Sign up for classes, clinics, camps or leagues.
Sports in a Box Model
Sports in a Box is our comprehensive service-oriented system that takes the work out of organizing your child's sports season. Don't worry about rallying other parents, paperwork, coaching or organizing; we provide everything you need, including:
- Equipment and uniforms
- Practice and game fields
- Administrative support
- And more!
Sports Classes & Clinics
We offer a variety of sports classes and clinics for children of all ages, from preschoolers to teens. Sports skills are taught in a recreational setting so that each child has a sense of achievement and personal success. As children get older, team experiences become more competitive. Dealing with competition in an appropriate manner is one of the skills we address.
For young athletes who love to move, play and compete, coed Sports Camps offer opportunities to learn basic skills, hone talents and explore several different sports at once. Learn more about JCCSF camps.
The JCCSF provides coaching, uniforms, equipment and practice facilities and coordinates with the various leagues. At the end of every season, JCCSF teams and their families participate in a team awards dinner. Every player receives an acknowledgment of effort and a team memento.
For more information on teams & leagues, contact Sheena Lister at 415.292.1231 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Children who register individually are placed on existing teams, or when new teams are created. Parents can also organize a full team of friends and/or classmates. Please contact us for more information.
