Admissions to our three preschools require both an application and a tour. Interested families must submit an application and schedule a tour of the preschool in which they are interested. Jewish and non-Jewish families are welcome.
We accept applications to our program on an ongoing basis and encourage you to complete the application in order to be a part of our enrollment process. Applications are available online or can be requested by calling Linda Toschi-Chambers at 415.292.1283 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. After submitting an application, families are invited to tour our preschools the year before their child’s enrollment. Tours are held in October through December and must be scheduled by calling the individual preschools beginning in mid-September.
Enrollment decisions are made in mid-March. We accept children based on a number of criteria including siblings, birthdate, gender balance, application date, Jewish identification and demonstrated commitment to the JCCSF (e.g. through membership, involvement or support). We maintain an active waiting pool and fill spaces as they become available throughout the year.
JCCSF preschools offer a generous scholarship program for families who qualify for financial assistance, based on need. Once children are admitted into one of our preschools, families complete a scholarship application. Scholarships for the Claude and Louise Rosenberg Early Childhood Education Program are made possible in part by the generosity of The Morris Stulsaft Foundation, the Mimi and Peter Haas Fund, the agencies listed below, and many generous members of the JCCSF preschool community.
