Chief Program Officer, Roots & Culture
David has over 15 years of leadership experience in educational and cultural organizations. Beginning as an educator and programmer, he developed his skills to lead program teams creating experiences that improve people’s opportunity to learn, connect, and make meaning together.
Most recently, David was the Executive Director of Kevah, an innovative Jewish education company offering customized learning for adults. David was previously Director of the Taube Koret Center for Jewish Peoplehood at the JCCSF, where he built a team that elevated Jewish and SF civic life through programming designed to be both “more Jewish and more universal.”
David started his career teaching in the Los Angeles Unified School District and running a Jewish summer camp in Pasadena. He served as the Director of Family Education at Wilshire Boulevard Temple, and as a Program Director in Israel with Nesiya, a trip that combines outdoor adventure, arts workshops, community service projects, cultural activities and creative Jewish expression.
