Mind-Body Studio

The JCCSF Fitness Center’s Mind-Body Studio is a place to take a break from your busy life for peace and quiet on 1,500 feet of bamboo floors and awash in natural light from a wall of windows. Renowned teachers lead yoga, Pilates, stretching and traditional Chinese exercise classes and workshops, applying ancient eastern practices to soothe and improve the physical and emotional issues of modern living, from jaw tension and scoliosis to depression and anxiety. The variety of styles and props, including wall ropes, accommodate Members of all abilities and ages, including older adults, athletes-in-training and new and expectant mothers.
