How do I live a more meaningful life? How might I feel more connected to others and to the world around me? In an era when we can choose our own identities, why might we choose to identify as Jews? In his new book, Why do Jewish? A Manifesto for 21st Century Jewish Peoplehood, Zack Bodner explores these questions and more as he thoughtfully shifts from asking why be Jewish to why do Jewish. Through a combination of personal stories and insights from some of our greatest teachers, Why Do Jewish? takes one of the oldest wisdom traditions and provides a roadmap for anyone looking to live a more meaningful Jewish life. Zack is joined in conversation with Paul Geduldig, CEO of the JCCSF. 

Zack Bodner is President and CEO of the Oshman Family JCC of Palo Alto, where he oversaw the creation of the Center for Social Impact, the Taube Center for Jewish Peoplehood, and the Z3 Project, a global effort to re-imagine Diaspora-Israel relations.
