Together We Are Stronger

When our world shifted in early 2020, we faced challenges unlike any we’d ever seen. Yet our members and community quickly proved that, despite closed doors, we had the potential to create a new future. So we doubled-down on the power of our connection, drew together virtually and dedicated ourselves to evolving with the times. With the help of an emergency fund, the Resilience Fund, we found new ways to share moments, joy and knowledge, even while apart.

Now, as we look ahead to the future, one that continues to look different than that we’ve known, we know we need to keep adapting. And we know we still need your help. So we transformed the Resilience Fund into a broader effort called the Resilience Campaign.

With your generosity, we can continue our programming, both virtual and in-person, and keep innovating along the way. We rely on these funds to maintain JCCSF In Place programming, summer camps, Class Connection programs and live-stream fitness classes, just to name a few.

We hope we can count on your generosity for the road ahead. While we might not always know what twists and turns that road will take, we do know one thing: Together we are stronger.

FUNDING IS NECESSARY TO ENSURE THE FUTURE OF THE JCCSF.

Gifts to the Resilience Campaign support:

  • Financial assistance for adult classes, preschool, and youth programs
  • Critical early childhood education programs to serve young families
  • Class Connection to offer children supervised learning and enriching social activities
  • JCCSF In Place programming and virtual events to keep us connected
  • Summer camp for all school-aged children to inspire a sense of discovery
  • Live stream and on demand fitness classes with the incredible instructors you love
  • Extensive and necessary protocols for keeping our participants, facility and staff healthy and safe

Resilience Campaign FAQs

Why is my gift important?

The JCCSF is a non-profit and we are dependent on donations, membership fees and registration fees to pay our creative and dedicated staff that brings you all the innovative programming and activities you enjoy.

The JCCSF Resilience Campaign is a way for us to live our purpose – as an institution and as individuals – and maintain our integrity in the face of dramatically changed circumstances. With it, we will emerge stronger than ever.

Does my contribution really make an impact at the JCCSF?

Yes! Every gift, no matter the size, makes an impact at the JCCSF. During this challenging time, we continue to curate ways for us to connect that include: JCCSF In Place programming, virtual events, live stream fitness, Hebrew and ceramics classes, and offer critical in-person preschool. Your gift helps ensure we can continue to focus on all the vibrant programming and activities, both virtual and in-person, you’ve enjoyed over the years.
