The Artist Backstage
Drawings and Paintings by Zero Mostel
On exhibit in the Katz Snyder Gallery
September 15 – November 12, 2011
Broadway legend, larger than life personality and target of Hollywood blacklisting, Zero Mostel was a prolific visual artist. Far away from the footlights and cameras, he worked at his easel almost everyday.
We’re proud to present the drawings and paintings of this gifted artist, whose style ranges from delicate sketches of the female model to strong Cubist abstractions.
All pieces are available for purchase. Please call Lenore Naxon at 415.292.1235 for more information.
