Second Annual #GivingTuesday
A National Day for Giving Back
Tuesday, December 3, 2013
“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” – Anne Frank
You’ve heard of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This year, join the JCCSF for #GivingTuesday on December 3. For the second year in a row, the JCCSF joins millions of Americans, local charities and businesses in a national movement to give back. Help us turn a season of shopping into a time to make positive change in our community.
Be Part of #GivingTuesday
Help the JCCSF give back to the community through our Tikkun Ha-olam (Repair the World) program, part of the Initiative for Jewish Peoplehood. And when you give in support of #GivingTuesday from now until year-end, your gift is matched dollar for dollar by generous community donors, doubling its impact.
Give Your Time
Join us at the JCCSF on December 3 to assemble kits for San Francisco's Project Homeless Connect that will be handed out to the city's homeless the following week. You can also check out our children's activities and learn more about how you can participate in and support the JCCSF's work to repair the world through service to our local community.
Give Your Voice
Share your ideas for giving back to your community with us on Facebook. Or use Twitter to spread the word about #GivingTuesday @JCCSF. More than 50 million people worldwide spread the word about #GivingTuesday last year.
Thank you for helping to make #GivingTuesday at the JCCSF a success.
