Kritzer/Ross Émigré Program

For 35 years, the Kritzer/Ross Émigré Program welcomed Russian-speaking émigrés, fostered a sense of community and connected them with American and Jewish life. The program evolved over the years as the needs of the community evolved. Now the JCCSF is partnering with Jewish Family and Children’s Services (JFCS) to take over management of many of the current programs for adults.

Starting June 30, the Émigré office at the JCCSF will be closed. Beginning July 1, JFCS staff will focus on coordinating and planning these programs into the future. We will work closely with them to transfer the management of the programs to JFCS. In the meantime, the existing Russian clubs will continue to meet at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco through August 2017.

Jewish Family and Children’s Services will provide more information about Fall programs when it becomes available. For immediate questions, please contact Ludmila Fomina at 415.449.2900.
