Photography and Multi-Media

Put your passion for photography into focus. Learn the fundamentals, from buying the right photography equipment to taking pictures at night. Study photo composition or Adobe® Photoshop®. Go on special field trips with the instructor and learn how to capture photos in the outdoors and at night while enjoying time with friends and classmates.

Requirements
All basic photography classes require a digital camera with some manual controls or a digital SLR.
Photography II classes require taking Digital Photography I or approval from the instructor.

Digital Photography I (RPHOTOW4C)

Learn the basics of camera operation, various auto-exposure modes, shutter speed, aperture and focal lengths. Gain knowledge of different approaches to composition, contrast, line, shape and color through a number of creative shooting projects.

Requirements: Basic computer skills, a “point and shoot” digital camera with manual controls for exposure or a DSLR.
