Fall 2009 Soccer

Sign up now for the JCCSF’s fall Viking Soccer teams. Viking Soccer is a competitive league in which children play against other teams throughout San Francisco. Games are held on weekends beginning in early September. All children will participate in weekend games, as well as one practice per week. Register a whole team or sign up as an individual. Practices begin in late August.

Registration deadline is April 30, 2009.

Children play on teams according to age. Please note that children in Kindergarten must play in the Micro-Soccer League (see below for more information).

U8 (Birthdates between 8/1/01 - 7/31/02)
Team Size: 12 Players

U9 (Birthdates between 8/1/00 - 7/31/01)
Team Size: 14 Players

U10 (Birthdates between 8/1/99 - 7/31/00)
Team Size: 14 Players

U11 (Birthdates between 8/1/98 - 7/31/99)
Team Size: 16 Players

U12 (Birthdates between 8/1/97 - 7/31/98)
Team Size: 18 Players

U13 (Birthdates between 8/1/96 - 7/31/97)
Team Size: 18 Players

U14 (Birthdates between 8/1/95 - 7/31/96)
Team Size: 18 Players

Register a whole team or sign up as an individual.
The JCCSF tries to place friends and schoolmates on the same teams; however, we do not guarantee specific team placement due to team size limitations. Teams from last year will be kept together as much as possible.

Practices: one per week, to be scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 3:30 - 4:30 pm or 4:30 - 5:30 pm, beginning in late August. Field locations to be determined.
Games: weekends, beginning in early September

Deposit Fee: $125 (non-refundable) due with registration; balance due when practice begins
Total Fee: M $355 | P $365 (per player)

1. Compeleted CYSA form (2 carbon copy form)
2. JCCSF Soccer League Registration form
3. 1" x 1" photo of your child (returning players must turn in a new picture)
4. Copy of your child's birth certificate or Passport (returning players must turn in a new copy)
5. Signed Viking "Parent Code Of Conduct" form (must be signed by all parents)
6. Signed JCCSF Medical Information and Release Form
7. Deposit fee (payable to the JCCSF) of $125.00 (non-refundable)

Micro-Soccer is the perfect team experience for those seeking a less competitive environment for their young child. Micro-soccer helps children develop important ball-handling skills during small-sided, 3-on-3; games without using goalies and without having the pressure of winning or losing. Children learn how to shoot on goal, pass & dribble during weekday practices and Saturday games.

Highlights of the program:
