Center Membership includes most fitness classes free of charge. Non-members can participate by purchasing a daily guest pass for $24, $12 when accompanied by a member (ID required).

There is a 20% administrative fee to cancel/refund all workshops; deadline to cancel/refund is 48 hours before start of workshop. Full refunds can only be granted with medical documentation of a condition that precludes the ability to complete a program.

THE GREEN TEA of YOGA PRACTICES:
Relax and Renew with Restorative Yoga® and Reiki Workshop

Restorative yoga assists your body's natural ability to cleanse, heal, rest and restore your immune system. Reiki calms you physically, mentally and emotionally. Students use props to stay in long-held poses while receiving Reiki massage.

Learn the basics in this workshop!

Frustrated with sitting in the back of the room and trying to keep up? Learn at a beginners pace in a course that prepares you for any level or style of yoga.

In each 3-hour workshop you will:
  • Grow comfortable with essential yoga positions and movements
  • Explore breathing techniques for a healthier body
  • Learn the differences between the various styles of yoga

THAI MASSAGE CERTIFICATION WORKSHOP

Thai Massage has a long history within the traditional healing arts of Thailand. It combines aspects of yoga, deep stretching, reflexology, energy work, and acupressure.

This 40-hour intensive course teaches students how to give a full Thai Massage treatment in traditional style. In addition to the hands-on practice, students participate in daily yoga practice, and Thai healing ceremonies, as well as learn about the cultural and historical background of Thai massage.

Participation is open to everyone, with CEU credits for massage professionals.

ADAPTIVE YOGA
Focus on awareness, breath & movement to cultivate the peaceful, healing benefits of yoga. In adaptive yoga, poses are modified to suit individual needs. All postures are done from either a chair or the floor in order to stimulate the body's systems without overtaxing them. All levels, including beginners, are welcome.

ANUSARA® INSPIRED
This class utilizes the Universal Principles of Alignment of Anusara yoga in a moderately paced, mindful flow. Anusara means "flowing with grace," or "flowing with nature." All levels welcome.

AQUA T'AI CHI
Easy to learn and safe. Learn slow, gentle and graceful T'ai Chi forms and exercises specifically adapted for the water. Improves balance, mental and physical health. Especially suited for people with arthritis or stiffness in their joints. Come and enjoy a relaxing and beautiful water experience.

ASHTANGA
Inspired by the late Pattabhi Jois, this class is a progressive series of postures that create intense internal heat through flowing asana sequences. Intermediate to advanced levels.

CORE INNER-CHI
Total wellness involves having open, strong, balanced chakras, (energy centers). In thisunique fusion of Qi Gong, yoga and Pilates, you will feel strong, stretched and straightened. All levels welcome, but prepare to be challenged in many ways.

FELDENKRAIS METHOD®
Re-educate your body's movement patterns to eliminate aches and pains.

FOAM ROLL & STRETCH
Learn how to properly use one of the latest fitness and therapeutic tools! Integrates mild core-work with stretching accompanied with foam rolling for Self-Myofascial Release.

GENTLE YOGA
A softer, slower paced yoga practice. Perfect for beginners or for someone just looking to slow down.

HATHA/HATHA FLOW
Learn the physical elements of the most predominant form of yoga practiced in the West. Physical asana, postures, are taught along with breathing and relaxation techniques. Poses are either static or linked by each inhale and exhale.

IYENGAR
Inspired by B.K.S Iyengar, yoga poses are held with reflective and meditative attention to encourage mind-body balance (not a flowing style). Props are often used to encourage optimal skeletal, functional and muscular integrity.

JIVAMUKTI
Jivamukti yoga is a method which reintegrates the physical, philosophical and spiritual aspects of Yoga. Jivamukti was developed in 1984 by its world-famous founders, Sharon Gannon and David Life, and is practiced around the world.  Classes involve an ever-changing flow of postures (vinyasa) that are intended to challenge you on many levels. Each class revolves around a theme based on ancient wisdom and emphasizes the importance of practicing with an elevated intention. Chanting, meditation, and inspiring music are always included.

MORNING FLOW
A combination of chi exercises and flowing hatha yoga postures to wake up the body. Appropriate for all levels, even beginners.

NIA®
A barefoot dance/movement practice combining guided and free form dance with elements of T'ai Chi, yoga and Aikido. All fitness levels welcome.

PILATES FUSION
This class blends two forms of movement, Pilates and yoga focusing on moving from the core, developing grace, strength and balance.

PRENATAL YOGA
Yoga for all stages of pregnancy. Prepare the body for labor and create a fun and caring community.

QI GONG
Qi Gong is the coordination of varied breathing patterns with changing physical postures. This practice enhances mobilization and stamina.

RELAX & RENEW® RESTORATIVE YOGA
Restorative Yoga is the yoga of nothing. Poses are held in a passive position for an elongated period of time. Relax and Renew® Restorative is a trademarked Restorative style certified by Judith Hanson Lasater. Recommended for anyone and for individuals with sleep insomnia or those needing to re-balance sleep patterns.

STRETCHING FOR ATHLETES
Stretching properly is an integral part of preparing your body to compete in sports. Increasing muscle and joint flexibility, injury prevention and sport-specific stretching routines are some of the specific areas covered.

T’AI CHI
A Chinese martial art that promotes balance, calm, energy and overall health. People of all ages can benefit from the slow, graceful, meditative movements.

VINYASA
A dynamic yoga practice with poses strung together by the breath and continuous flowing movement. Intermediate to advanced level.

YOGA BASICS & INTRO TO YOGA
Incorporating alignment, breakdown of basic poses and breath awareness, this class moves at a pace just right for you. Perfect for beginners.

YOGA & MEDITATION
This class offers a combination of yoga poses and a guided meditation. All levels welcome.

YOGA THERAPY
In this reflective yoga class, topics are raised by the yoga therapist as an invitation to explore holding patterns in the body that correspond to the center of our emotions. From here we look at the underlying cause and effect of stress and emotion on our bodies and learn to skillfully move to open up these channels. All levels welcome.

YOGA 101
Frustrated with sitting in the back of the room and trying to keep up? Have no fear, beginners' questions are welcome in a course that prepares you for any level or style of yoga. Meets one Saturday monthly, 1:30 - 4:30pm, Studio B. For this quarter, one Saturday only: September 12. No registration required. Please watch for flyers and updates for ongoing class dates year round.
